Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Currently we are using Canadian Maple and American Poplar wood for our discs.  The Maple discs have a browner tone and tend to be darker.  The Poplar discs have a more yellow tone and tend to be lighter.  Indicate on your order which wood is preferred.  Due to differences in wood grains, no two discs are alike.  And keep in mind they each come with their own serial number so you won't get it confused with someone else's.
  2. Besides the UV color printing there is no added finish to the discs.  Their extremely smooth finish is from many levels of hand sanding and polishing.
  3. We currently sell one size.  However, we do have a 6cm in diameter (2 1/4") size disc that can be requested in a custom order.  We find most customers prefer the smaller 5cm disc.
  4. No care is needed for the disc - the natural oils from your hand will do all the enhancing.
  5. Custom Orders:  We can add wording to the back of our Original or Canadian Edition discs - up to 3 lines of 15 characters each.  Or for you own personal or corporate design simply send us a pdf or jpg file at info@compassioncompass.ca.  We can connect you with a graphic designer if needed.  Proofs provided prior to printing.
